Adoptions Dog's
MOUTJOURA is a female puppy, 8 months old. She was found in a plastic bag with 7 more dead puppies. She was the only one who survived because she was moving in the bag and somebody found out the bag in the garbage bin. So she grown without a mother. Her foster family tried really hard for feeding this little doggy who was trying so desperately to survive.
Now she is a happy dog , she lives with Pitsilas and other dogs and cats in a farm. She goes very well with people and especially with children. She reserves to be adopted by a good family.
Loulis is a 2½ - 3 years old male dog. He was found in Kalamaki beach in a very bad situation ready to die from thirst and hanger. Now he lives in his foster home. He is a happy dog; he lives with other dogs and cats peacefully. He knows to walk well with the lead, he is very obedient dog and he likes to play with children.
This is a stray female dog needing a good home. She has given birth to 5 pup's in the field.
She is being looked after by a lady who is here on holiday. The lady leaves 30/09.
The dog is a small spaniel type hunting dog with a short tail.
The pup's have gone to vet's to be re homed.
Mum dog needs a home too. She is very loving and a good protector.
She is 18 months old
Isabella is an exceptionally intelligent, beautiful sterilised female . She is aboutr 18months old and spends all her days tracking lizards, and all night tracking mice. She is loving and strong and very athletic. She doesn't need just ahome, she needs a lifetime companion who will spend time enjoying doing things with her. She was picked of the streets of Laganas after being under attack from a pack of other dogs. She is great with other dogs and cats.
The setter (BADGER) is a male dog with a lovely nature, he is great with other dogs but as I said before he is not good with cats. He is good with children.
He is so much better in the week since he has been shot, he is no longer limping although our vet is not too sure about his eye. It has gone cloudy, so he may have to go back to the vet this week just to be checked.
Bella is a slender German Shepard mix about 5 years old. When we found her she was extremely thin, covered with tics (even into her eyes) and flies and pregnant. Fortunately it was early enough for the vet to terminate the pregnancy and sterilize her.
Since then she has been cleaned and taken care of. She is now healthy, happy and with a shiny coat. She will be shy at first but as soon as she realizes you care for her and mean no harm, she will devote herself to you. She is also shy with other dogs and need some time to get to know them, but after that she will be happy to play and have fun. She loves to take walks and after she knows you are her family you will not need to keep her on a lead because she will never leave away from you. Her right ear has a gun pellet that doesn’t hurt her or needs to be removed, but indicates how hard her life was before we found her. If you are looking for a clever and tender friend, who will also guard your house and exercise with you, Bella is your perfect match.
Holly is 6 yrs old, sterilized, fully vaccinated and with chip and passport. She is great with children, and never snapped or even growled. Used to being outside but is fine inside. She hasn't been around cats much but I think she would be ok with an established pet who will tell her what's what. She used to chase the chickens which came near our fence, but since she's been at Vince's ( new foster) she's ignored his chickens who are in the next door pen, so that's a real step forward. She is a really lovely dog, very loving, and gets on fine with other dogs..think of how many foster puppies we had!
Laural, is a male dog 2 years old, he has all his vaccines and has a passported and been chipped.
Even though he is 2 years old he is very timid. He will need to go to someone who will be a bit assertive with him. He goes well with all the other dogs which live in the same yard and has fallen in love with the foster dog Lillian, who is also on the programme.
Jojo is an 9 year old male dog who was living during all his life in a dark room as in the pictures below without a door. No one could get in to this place to clean it and to give him a little affection. No light could get in. So he was alone in this darkness without hope. The only thing he could get was some food and some water thrown from the window We went one day secretely to "steal him". Now he really enjoys his life in the house of a fosterer who is dedicated and loves him and tries to make him feel secure with people. It was hard in the begining as he bit her, he was not good at the vet's etc. But as time passes he started to be more socialized and to have a better behavior.
